Make an Appointment

This allows you to make appointments with customers and prospects, recording the appointment details in their contact record and in the Microsoft Outlook Company Calendar.

1.   Select Gx CRM from the toolbar.
2.   Select Contact Details from the menu.
3.   Select the required customer.  You can use the quick access lookup or advanced search to find an account if you do not know the exact account code. 
4.   Click on the Make an Appointment icon graphic in the toolbar or in the bottom right of the screen next to Next Appointment
5.   If an appointment already exists the details will be shown.  At this point you may click the New button to create a further appointment for this customer or alternatively edit the existing appointment.  Use the drop down menus to select the appointment start date/time and end date/time. 
6.   Select the operator the appointment is being made for using the drop down menu. 
7.   Type in the contact name and subject of this meeting.
8.   Click the Save button.  The appointment details will show against the Next Appointment field at the bottom right of the Contact Details screen after you Save the customer contact details record.
