This allows you to add to the options available in the Position drop-down
menu in supplier contacts, customer contacts and prospect
contacts. The
Position field is used for information only, allowing you to record the job titles
of your contacts. For the purposes of target mail selections, you should use
the Contact Categories field for selecting the correct contacts
as addressees
on mailshots and labels.
1. Select Gx Sales from the toolbar.
2. Hold the cursor over Options on the menu.
3. Hold the cursor over Analysis Details on the second menu.
4. Select Contact Positions on the third menu.
5. Enter a three digit Code for the contact position.
6. Enter a description for this Position. This is usually a job title or role.
