EPower is our e-commerce solution that is available as a totally integrated
solution with Power-Gx for a full business to business and/or a consumer to
business solution. This Order pad option allows you to set up a list of products
that a customer purchases regularly. The website will allow the customer easy
and fast access to this list giving the consumer a better experience.
1. Select Gx SOP from the toolbar.
2. Hold the cursor over
Epower on the menu.
3. Select
Orderpad from the second menu.
4. Enter the customer's account code or use the search button provided. The
customer must be flagged as an EPower account in Customer Details before
you are allowed to continue.
5. Simply enter a list of product codes on to the grid to set up the order pad.
Alternatively you may wish to import the customer's contract using the Import
Contract button, should the customer have more than one contract then you
will be presented with a list of contracts to select from. Additionally there is an
option to import a customer's purchase history using the Import Purchase
History button, on selecting this you will be asked how many months you
wish to import on to the list. Using the import buttons will not clear any
products already on order pad it will add to it.
6. A further Import From File button allows you to import a product list from a
Comma Separated File (CSV). If you are using Power Gx in the Cloud view additional instructions
here. You will be asked which column number
contains the product code, then use the dialog box to browse to the
appropriate file. After selecting it a window will show a sample of the data
and ask you to proceed. Please note that this import will not overwrite the
contents of the Orderpad just append to it. 7. Right click the mouse within the grid to Insert a row, Delete a row or perform
a Product Search.
8. Select Save to file to order pad. An automated job will pick up any changes
to a customer's order pad and export it to EPower.
9. To delete the order pad select Delete.
10. Some order pads can be quite lengthy, to find a product code in the list
key in the required code in the input box provided on the right hand side of the
window and press Find. You may use the Product Search in this input box
by right clicking the mouse button.
