EPower is our e-commerce solution that is available as a totally integrated
solution with Power-Gx for a full business to business and/or a consumer to
business solution. This Epower Filtering option allows you filter products
that a user of Epower can access by Catalogue, Brand or ISPC level (Product
Group). Filtering can be applied Site wide, ie. to every user of the
website, Customer specific, ie. to users that belong to a
specific customer, or to an individual User.
1. Select Gx SOP from the toolbar.
2. Hold the cursor over
Epower on the menu.
3. Select
Filtering from the second menu.
4. Decide what level you wish to apply the filter to, either Site, Customer or
User level. Site Level will apply to all users who use
the website. Customer level will apply to all users of a
specific customer who use the website. User level applies
to an individual user of the website.
5. If you selected the Site level jump to step 6. If you selected
Customer or User level you must now enter a Customer by keying in the account
code or using the search button. If you selected the User level, in
addition to the customer you must select a user from the drop down list
provided.
6. Select the tab corresponding to the filter you wish to create.
7. The Catalogue Tab will list all catalogues currently setup on Gx. To stop a user from viewing a particular catalogue tick the check box in the Suppress column next to the required catalogue name. You may remove the filter by unticking the checkbox.
8. The Brand Tab will list all the Brands loaded on to Gx in the last Price Update together with a list of Product Groups
(ISPC Levels). You may filter all products belonging to a brand, products belonging to one or more Product Groups in a brand, products belonging to one or more Product Sub Groups in a brand, or a mixture of all. Tick the checkbox next to the required brand, this will tick all the Suppress boxes for all Product Groups and Sub Groups, meaning all products in the brand will be filtered out from Epower. You may then untick or tick Product Groups and Sub Groups as you wish, or alternatively use the Tick All and Untick All buttons.
9. The ISPC Tab will list all the Product Groups and Sub Groups on Gx. You may filter all products belonging to a Product Group or to one or more Sub Groups by ticking the appropriate checkboxes.
You may remove a filter by unticking the checkbox.
10. The Options Tab allows you to configure further settings that govern the way that Epower works.
·
Specify whether search results should be sorted by Brand or Catalogue in Epower
by selecting the Priority option.
Select the specific Brand or Catalogue to prioritise using the drop down lists in the Brand Priority and Priority Catalogue sections. Note that you may select up to 4 brands to prioritise.
·
Select which sequence you wish Epower to sort any search results, By Product Description or By price, low to high.
Please Note that if you have specified a Brand or Catalogue to prioritise then they will still
appear at the top of any search results no matter what you set here.
·
Other Options, you may choose to Exclude Manufacturers codes from any search results displayed in Epower
by ticking the box, and/or Exclude codes with no alias to omit products that have no alias codes (no catalogues) and no supplier information.
·
Delivery Charges, for any customers that place business to consumer orders (B2C orders,
customers who do not login to Epower) you may wish to charge them a delivery charge. Select the
Additional Charge from the drop down list, this will be added to the sales order placed
on Epower and passed through to Power-Gx. Enter the Default B2C Delivery Charge,
this is the delivery charge amount to be added to the order. Next, enter the Default B2C Delivery Charge Threshold,
this is the order value threshold above which no delivery charge will be applied, for example, free delivery for orders over 50.00.
If you wish to define a different delivery charge for a specific product group (eg. furniture) use the ISPC/Product Group
specific Delivery Charges. Any delivery charge defined here will override the default if products belonging to these groups
exist on the order. Note that if more than one charge applies then the highest will be used, also these charges apply to all Epower
orders and not just B2C.
11. Save any changes using the Save button, alternatively
delete any filters using the
Delete button.
