Raise a Collection Note

1.       Select Gx CRM from the toolbar. 
2.      Select Contact Details from the menu.
3.      Select the required customer.
4.      Click Place Order in toolbar and then select New Collection Note.
5.      Collection Note No - the system automatically allocates the next number.
6.      Account Code - this is filled in with the account you had open in Contact Details
7.      Collection Date - enter the expected collection date.
8.      Enter the Customer Reference for this collection if one is given. 
9.      Select the correct Collect From address from the drop-down menu.
10.   On the Items to Collect tab, select the original sales order from the drop-down menu in the Order No column.  The items on that sales order are displayed in the bottom panel on the screen.
11.   Click an order line to add it to the collection note. 
12.   Packs - enter the number of packs to be collected. 
13.   Singles - enter the number of singles to be collected. 
14.   Reason - select the reason for the return from the drop-down menu. Click here for instructions on setting up reason codes. 
15.   If you want to add information messages to this collection note, click the Information tab.  Select a pre-set message from the drop-down menu or type your text directly into the window.  Click here for instructions on setting up these message codes.
16.   You can Print the collection note directly from this screen, or Save it and print it later together with other collection notes using the Print Collection Notes program.
