This topic explains how to start mvBase after a controlled shutdown or during
a server reboot. This procedure needs to be carried out on the server onto
which MvBase has been installed. If the server has been incorrectly shut
down, for example due to a power cut or user error, it will warn you that it is
starting in recovery mode. You should contact Calidore Support in
this
occurrence.
1. From the server desktop or start menu, choose the MvBase Administration
Utility.
2. Firstly you must start the Server Services. Click the Server tab.
3. Click the Server Service line. Note: you must NEVER start the Server
Application item unless instructed to do so by Calidore.
4. Click on the Start button. The status of the Server Service will change to
Running. If it does not, please contact Calidore Support.
5. You should now start the Workstation Service. Click the Workstation tab.
6. Click
the Workstation Service line. Note: you must NEVER start the
Workstation Application item unless instructed to do so by Calidore.
