Inter Warehouse Transfers

Gx Stock\Move Stock In and Out can be used for inter-warehouse transfers, allowing you to move stock from one warehouse to another. 

1.   Select Gx Stock on the toolbar.
2.   Select Move Stock In and Out from the menu. 
3.   Enter the Product Code.  To search for a code use the graphic icon in the toolbar, or right-click on the product lines display and select Search the Product Database from the popup menu.  The Description and Pack Size fill in automatically when you enter the stock code. 
4.   Select the Warehouse this item is to be moved out of.
5.   Select Out from the Type drop-down menu. 
6.   Confirm the Date of the stock movement.
7.   Enter a Reference for this stock adjustment to help trace why the stock movement occurred, for example "move to w/h 001" or "xfer to shop".
8.   Enter the number of Packs and Singles to be moved out of this warehouse.  The quantity in stock is updated and shows at the end of the line. 
9.   Enter the same stock code on the next line.
10.      Select the Warehouse the stock is being moved into. 
11.      Select In from the Type drop-down menu. 
12.      Confirm the Date of the stock movement.
13.      Enter a Reference for this stock adjustment to help trace why the stock movement occurred, for example "moved from w/h 001" or "taken from shop".
14.      Enter the number of Packs and Singles to be moved into this warehouse.  The quantity in stock is updated and shows at the end of the line.
