Stock Movement Enquiry

You can use the Gx Stock\Product Details program to view transactions for a particular product code. 

1.      Select Gx Stock on the toolbar.
2.      Select Product Details from the menu.
3.      Enter the stock code or search the product database to find it. 
4.      Click the Movements tab.  Every sales order, purchase order, booking in, issue, supplier return and other stock movement for the current period for this code will be displayed.  Note: the Prd. column shows the sales ledger period in which the transaction was posted, the reference column displays the sales order, purchase order, supplier return number etc that this movement relates to, and the closed column indicates whether the transaction is complete for example a purchase order is booked in, a sales order is issued etc. 
5.      Click a column heading to re-sort the data by that column. 
6.      Click a specific type of transaction in the Type column to view only transactions of that type.  The All Transactions button will display the full list of transactions again.  Click here for an explanation of the type abbreviations. 
7.      Click the Outstanding Transactions button to view incomplete transactions only.  The All Transactions button will display the full list of again.
8.      Select and right-click a transaction to display further actions such as View Order Enquiry to  view the sales order enquiry for ALC (allocation) or ISS (issue) transactions or purchase order enquiry for P/O (purchase order) and GRN (goods received) transactions.  View Linked Movements displays other transactions associated with this one, e.g. if you select a GRN it will show the purchase order for it.  View GRN Detail is only available for GRN transactions, it  displays information regarding the booking in of stock such as the GRN reference, date and quantity received.
9.      Use the Previous Period and Next Period buttons to view stock transactions for this product in other financial periods.  The period number currently displayed is shown on the right.
