You can arrive at the order enquiry details program from a number of other
programs. For example directly from a single Sales Order Enquiry,
from the View Order button in Previous Calls in CRM\Contact Details,
by selecting an
order from the Current Order Enquiry display, by using the View
Order Form
option from the context menu on the Transactions tab in GX
Sales\Customer
Details etc.
There are many areas of information that can be viewed in the order enquiry.
The initial display shows the following information about the sales order:
·Operator - shows the person who enter the order on the system
·Customer reference - shows the customer purchase order
reference for the order
·Order Totals - shows the total sales, cost and profit values for the
order as well as the profit margin percentage. Individual line profit
can be viewed using the Original Order tab below.
There are a number of tabs that you can click to display further information
about the sales order. These are:
·Header Details - shows the header information including cost
centre, delivery method, contact name etc
·Original Order - shows the product lines on the sales order. Use
the Order Status button to view the quantity of each product line that has been
ordered, delivered and invoiced. The same price colours are
used as in Sales Order Entry, this means that amended prices will show in blue font, Contract prices show in red and Cost Plus prices show in magenta.
·Non Stock Lines - shows free type text lines on the order
·Delivered Lines - showsdetails of delivered stock lines
·Invoiced Lines - shows invoiced order lines
·Text Lines - shows descriptive text lines added to stock product
lines
·Information - shows delivery note instructions and invoice
messages
·Additional Charges - shows additional charges added to the order
e.g. carriage
·Purchase Orders - allows you to view the supplier chosen to buy
each line from and the purchase order number raised for this item.
Double clicking a product line will open up the purchase order
enquiry screen showing the purchase order that the sales order line
has been purchased on.
·Sales Invoices - allows you to view the sales invoice numbers that
a the product line has been invoiced on. If you double-click a line, it
links you to invoice enquiry screen.
·Delivery Notes - allows you to view the delivery note versions an
order line has been on
·Products Bought - shows the products they have previously
ordered and the quantity, price and date of the last order
·Balances & Memo - shows the total outstanding, credit limit, aged
balances, turnover, last order date, last invoice date, any account
memos recorded about the customer and memos added to the
sales order. If the order was initially placed on a website then the Web Order Number will be displayed in the Order Memo. Double click on the Order Memo to edit it.
