Suppliers such as Vow, Spicers, Truline, UFP, Antalis, CTS and other suppliers who have EDI capabilities allow you
to connect into their systems and check their stock levels.
1. Select Gx Stock on the toolbar.
2. Select Product Details from the menu.
3. Enter the stock code you wish to check supplier stock of.
4. Click the Suppliers tab.
5. Click the In Stock column on the line for the supplier you want to check
stock with.
6. Click the ellipses icon that has appeared in the column.
7. Gx connects to the supplier's computer system and will retrieve their stock
level for this product. It will be displayed in the In Stock column.
Note: you can also check supplier stock levels from the supplier selection
window in the Product Lines tab when placing a sales order or from
the Shopping screen.
