Sales Performance Enquiry

This program allows you to display sales and profit figures for customers using various selection options such as by rep, market class, product group etc.  You can print reports from these analysis figures and display the data in graphical representation.  You can also drill-down from the initial results to view the data in closer detail, right down to individual order enquiries. 

1.       Select Gx SOP from the toolbar.
2.       Select Sales Performance Enquiry from the menu.
3.       Choose how you want to sort the report by clicking one of the radio buttons from the Report By options:  Customer, Rep, Area, Customer Type, Market Class, Selection Group, Order Source, Product Group and Product Code
4.       Enter the Date Range you want to select results from.
5.       You should then select the range you want to include for the Report By option you selected.  E.g. from rep 01 to rep 03, product group 010 to product group 010 etc.  If you selected Customer, you can either run the report for an Account Range, or manually select Individual Accounts (select the letters of the alphabet to choose accounts from.  Highlight a customer in the list and click Add to include them on the report), or apply selection criteria (click the Individual Accounts radio button then click the Search radio button.  The search window will open.  Click here for instructions on using the account search facility).  
6.       Having made your range selections, click the Select button at the bottom of the screen.  This displays the results on screen.  Click here to view the Sales Performance Enquiry results screen.  At this point you may click on the column headers to sort by that column.  You have various options for displaying and interrogating these results:
7.       Click the Expand button to display a comparison and variance between this year and last year for each line on the results.  Click the Collapse button to return to the original results display. 
8.       Click the View Chart button to view the results in graphical representation.  Click here to view an example of the graphs. 
9.       You can drill down to see the detail behind a line on the results by double-clicking anywhere on the line.  For example if you selected the data by Rep, you can click the line for a particular rep to see their figures broken down by customer account.  From this screen you can drill down further by double-clicking one of the accounts to see the product groups behind the figures for this customer, as shown here. Double-click a product group to see the individual stock codes that make up the figures for this product group for this customer.  Double-click a product to view the sales orders it is on for this customer as shown here.  Lastly, double click one of these lines to open up order enquiry for this sales order.
