Brand Discounts allows you to give discounts on Brands to a specific
Category and Product Group combination. The discounts will only be applied on items that do
not exist on the customer's contract.
1. Select Gx SOP from the toolbar.
2. Hold the cursor over Prices and Discounts on the menu.
3. Select
Brand Discounts from the second menu.
4. Select a Customer
Category from the drop list.
5. The Product Group
(ISPC Level 1) drop down list will become active, select the required product group from the list.
6. The Product Sub-Group
(ISPC Level 2) drop down list will become active, select the required product sub-group from the list. If you do not wish to create a discount at sub-group level then select the "All Sub Groups" option.
7. The
Brand drop down list will become active, select the required Brand from the list or select the
All Brands option to apply the discount to all of the brands.
8. Enter the discount into the first line of the grid. If no quantity breaks are
required then leave the quantity column blank.
9. If you want to define discounts with quantity breaks then ensure the quantities
are entered in a strict ascending sequence going down the grid, for example see below.
10. If you wish to set up a Cost Plus Discount for this Brand/s,
tick the check box at the foot of the window. Cost Plus Discounts add the
percentage defined in the grid to the cost thus enabling you to maintain your
margins should the cost price fluctuate.
