Create Supplier Market Class Codes

Supplier market classes allow you to categorise your suppliers by the industry sector they operate in, for example stationery suppliers, office furniture dealers, printers, software suppliers, utility providers etc. Market classes can be assigned to suppliers in Supplier Details.

1. Select Gx Purchase from the toolbar.

2. Hold the cursor over Options on the menu.

3. Hold the cursor over Analysis Details on the second menu.

4. Select Market Class from the third menu.

5. Enter a four digit numeric Class Code.

6. Enter a Description for this market class.

7. Enter an Abbreviation of this description.
