Quotes can only be converted into sales orders for customers, not prospects.
1. Select Gx
CRM from the toolbar.
2. Select Contact
Details from the menu.
3. Select
the required customer or prospect.
4. Click Place
Order in the toolbar and then select Open Quotations.
5. Quotation
No - select the quote from the drop-down menu.
6. Click
the Create Order button.
7. A
screen (see below) will appear prompting for extra information before the order can be
created. These additional prompts are for Customer Reference,
Deliver to Customer By, Warehouse,
Acknowledge By, Priority, Deliver Part Order
and Query Order. These prompts will populate the Order
Header, see here for more information.
8. Click Ok.
This returns you to the Contact Details screen where a comment
line will be displayed in the Previous Calls tab showing the quote has
been converted to a sales order, and gives the sales order number. Any
products required to be purchased for this order will now appear on the Shopping List.
9. If
you wish to amend the order, click Place Order in the tool bar
and then
select Open Orders from the drop-down menu.
