This enquiry allows you to quickly check the price a customer pays for a
specific product. The price will be derived from their
Price and Discount
Structure
. It can also be used as a price calculator, allowing you to amend
elements of the price to calculate the price you would like to charge a
customer.
1. Select Gx SOP from the toolbar.
2. Select Price Check from the menu.
3. Enter the customer Account Code.
4. Enter the Product code.
5. Enter the Quantity to be purchased as the price may be affected by quantity breaks
, please note that this quantity is the number of full packs to be purchased.
A Singles prompt is available should you wish to check prices
on quantities less than a full pack.
6. If the customer has not been assigned any catalogues, you are able to
select one from the Catalogue drop-down menu, which includes all
catalogues that the product appears in. If the customer has been allocated
specific catalogue(s), it will automatically show their highest priority
catalogue.
7. The customer's gross price for the product will be displayed, showing
whether this is a contract price, catalogue price (if it is not on their
contract) or retail price (if the product does not appear on their contract or
in any of their catalogues). Below the price, any discount applicable to this
product will be shown, identifying where the discount has been derived
from. The customer's Nett Price for this product will be displayed at the
bottom left of the screen. The discount value and profit is also shown.
8. You can amend any of the values shown in the six white boxes at the
bottom (i.e. Discount %, Discount Value, Nett Price, Mark Up %, Margin %
and Profit Value to calculate the Nett Price you can charge the customer.
Altering any of these values will update the others so you can view the
effect the change has on each element of the price.
9. If you called the Price Check from a Sales Order or a Quotation an
Add To Order button will be enabled at the foot of the window. Click this button to return the Product and Price to the Order/Quote.
